Description

Tuscan Sausage and Bean Dip is a creamy, cheesy baked appetizer packed with sausage, spinach, and white beans.


Ingredients

1 pound hot Italian chicken sausage or turkey sausage

1 medium onion, finely chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

6 ounces fresh baby spinach, coarsely chopped

1 can (15 ounces) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup chopped seeded tomatoes

1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Crackers or toasted baguette slices, for serving


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Cook sausage, onion, and garlic in a skillet until browned and onion is soft.

3. Drain excess liquid if needed.

4. Stir in chicken broth, oregano, salt, and thyme and simmer until reduced.

5. Add cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.

6. Mix in spinach, beans, and tomatoes until spinach wilts.

7. Transfer to baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan.

8. Bake 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

9. Serve warm with crackers or toasted baguette.

Notes

Use turkey sausage for a lighter option.

Best served fresh and warm.

Can be prepared ahead and baked later.
