Description
Creamy garlic chicken thighs baked in a rich Parmesan sauce until tender and flavorful.
Ingredients
5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, patted dry
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill, optional
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
3. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until lightly golden. Transfer the chicken to a plate.
4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring often.
5. Sprinkle in the flour and stir for 1 minute to form a smooth base. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring, then cook until the sauce begins to thicken.
6. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Taste and adjust seasoning.
7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over top. Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes until fully cooked.
8. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
