Description

Crispy baked wonton cups filled with creamy spicy tuna, avocado, jalapeño, and sesame seeds. Perfect for parties, holidays, and elegant entertaining.


Ingredients

24 wonton wrappers

Cooking spray

2 teaspoons black sesame seeds

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 pound sushi-grade tuna, finely chopped

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons green onions, finely sliced

1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

1 jalapeño, thinly sliced

1 avocado, thinly sliced and cut into small pieces

1 tablespoon mixed black and white sesame seeds


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Lightly coat a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.

3. Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup and lightly spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and salt.

4. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Cool completely.

5. Finely chop the tuna until it reaches a tartare-like consistency.

6. Combine tuna, mayonnaise, sesame oil, soy sauce, green onions, and sriracha in a bowl.

7. Arrange cooled wonton cups on a serving platter.

8. Place a small piece of avocado into each cup.

9. Spoon the tuna mixture over the avocado.

10. Top with a jalapeño slice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

11. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use sushi-grade tuna for the best flavor and food safety.

Bake wonton cups ahead of time and store in an airtight container.

Assemble just before serving to keep the cups crisp.
