A rich and comforting slow cooker beef stew made with tender beef, vegetables, and a deeply flavorful broth.
Ingredients
2 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 to 6 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups diced onions
4 cloves garlic
5 cups beef broth
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons tomato paste
5 carrots
1 pound baby potatoes
2 bay leaves
1 rosemary sprig
1 cup peas
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
1. Pat beef dry and cut into cubes
2. Season and coat with flour
3. Brown beef in الزيت
4. Transfer to slow cooker
5. Cook onions and garlic
6. Deglaze with broth
7. Add all ingredients to slow cooker
8. Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours
9. Add peas last 15 minutes
10. Thicken if desired
Notes
Browning enhances flavor
Add cornstarch slurry for thickness
Remove herbs before serving
