Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 1.3 pounds
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
18 ounces BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker in an even layer.
2. Sprinkle smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the chicken.
3. Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken until fully coated.
4. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours and 30 minutes or until the chicken becomes tender enough to shred easily.
5. Remove the chicken and shred with two forks.
6. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir well to coat in the sauce.
7. Serve warm on buns, over potatoes, or with your favorite comfort food sides.
