Description
A rich and buttery garlic rice that’s fluffy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to prepare.
Ingredients
4 to 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
5 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 cups uncooked white rice
3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Melt half the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat and sauté garlic until fragrant
2. Add rice and stir until lightly coated and slightly translucent
3. Pour in broth and salt, then bring to a gentle boil
4. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes without stirring
5. Remove from heat and let rest covered for 10 minutes
6. Fluff rice and stir in remaining butter until melted
7. Mix in parsley, garnish, and serve
Notes
Use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version
Do not lift the lid during cooking
Add a splash of broth when reheating for best texture
