A quick and comforting pasta dish made with butter, garlic, lemon, and parsley for a silky, flavorful finish.
Ingredients
1 pound spaghetti
3/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente according to the package directions.
2. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
3. Place the hot spaghetti in a large bowl. Add the cubed butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and reserved pasta water.
4. Toss well until the butter melts and coats the noodles in a smooth, creamy sauce.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Serve warm in bowls.
Notes
Use high-quality butter for the best flavor.
Do not skip the reserved pasta water as it helps create a silky sauce.
Adjust lemon juice to taste for brightness.
