Description

A rich and comforting one-skillet pasta made with tender chicken, ranch flavor, and melted cheeses.

Ingredients

1 pound penne pasta, uncooked

3 cups water

1 ½ tablespoons minced garlic

2 cups heavy cream

½ cup ranch-style dressing

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cups cooked chicken breast, grilled and cubed

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add the uncooked pasta, water, and garlic. Cover and simmer for 13 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

2. Increase heat to medium-high and pour in the cream. Toss gently to coat.

3. Stir in ranch dressing, Parmesan, and mozzarella. Simmer 2 to 5 minutes until sauce thickens.

4. Add cooked chicken and stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Serve hot directly from the skillet.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for convenience. Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers.
