Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons garlic paste
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 jar (32 ounces) marinara sauce
1 pound spaghetti
2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease baking dish
2. Cook spaghetti until just under al dente and drain
3. Cook ground beef until browned
4. Add onion and cook until softened
5. Stir in seasoning, garlic, sugar, and marinara
6. Simmer briefly then combine with pasta
7. Transfer to baking dish
8. Top with cheese mixture
9. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly
10. Broil briefly for golden top
11. Rest before serving
