A rich and comforting baked creamy pasta with cheese loaded with chicken and vegetables, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
1 lb pasta
1 tablespoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves
5 tablespoons flour
5 cups milk
2 teaspoons bouillon
3/4 cup parmesan
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon parsley
4 cups cooked chicken
4 cups mixed vegetables
2 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Boil pasta with salt and cook slightly underdone
3. Melt butter and cook garlic
4. Stir in flour and cook briefly
5. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth
6. Add seasoning and cook until thickened
7. Mix in pasta, chicken, and vegetables
8. Transfer to baking dish
9. Top with shredded cheese
10. Bake 25 minutes until golden
11. Cool slightly before serving
Notes
Do not overbake to keep texture creamy
Add a splash of milk when reheating
