Description

Fresh avocado salsa dip made with ripe avocados, tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice. A quick no-cook appetizer perfect for chips, tacos, and party platters.

Ingredients

6 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

4 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled, and diced

Juice of 2 limes

1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

1. Add the tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, avocados, lime juice, salt, and cilantro to a large mixing bowl.

2. Gently toss everything together until evenly combined, being careful not to mash the avocado too much.

3. Taste and add a little more salt or lime juice as needed.

4. Serve right away with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, bowls, or grilled vegetables.

Notes

Use ripe but firm avocados for the best texture.

Serve immediately for maximum freshness.

Adjust jalapeño and lime juice to taste.

Store leftovers in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface.
