Description
A creamy Mediterranean whipped feta dip blended with yogurt, cream cheese, and olive oil. Perfect as a quick appetizer or sandwich spread.
Ingredients
6 ounces feta cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1–2 tablespoons water, as needed for blending
1 garlic clove (optional)
Pinch of fresh or dried dill (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1. Add the feta cheese, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and olive oil to a small food processor or blender.
2. If using the optional ingredients, add the garlic, dill, and lemon juice.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
4. If the spread is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time and blend again.
5. Stop blending while small flecks of feta remain visible for texture.
6. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately as a dip or spread.
Notes
For a smoother dip, use block feta in brine.
Add chili flakes for a spicy variation.
Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle herbs before serving for extra flavor.
