Description

Juicy chicken cubes marinated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, air fried to perfection, and brushed with a thick glaze for irresistible flavor.


Ingredients

12 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Place cubed chicken into a resealable plastic bag.

2. Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and garlic until sugar dissolves.

3. Pour marinade over chicken, seal, and massage to coat evenly.

4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

5. Thread chicken onto soaked skewers.

6. Arrange in air fryer basket in a single layer.

7. Cook at 400°F for 11–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

8. Boil reserved marinade for 5–10 minutes until slightly thickened.

9. Brush cooked skewers with boiled marinade and garnish with green onions.

Notes

Oven Method: Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

Grill Method: Grill over medium-high heat 8–10 minutes per side.

Always boil reserved marinade before brushing onto cooked chicken.
