Description

Crispy baked taco cups made with seasoned ground beef or turkey, chili beans, salsa, and melted cheddar cheese layered between wonton wrappers. Finished with a creamy salsa ranch drizzle and your favorite fresh toppings.

Ingredients

24 wonton wrappers

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 pound ground beef or ground turkey

1 cup chili beans, undrained

1 cup salsa

2 to 3 teaspoons taco seasoning

1/4 cup ranch dressing

2 to 3 tablespoons salsa

Shredded lettuce (optional)

Diced tomatoes (optional)

Sliced olives (optional)

Chopped green onions (optional)

Sour cream (optional)

Guacamole (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly coat a 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick spray. Press one wonton wrapper into each cup.

2. Cook ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

3. Stir in chili beans with liquid, salsa, and taco seasoning. Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

4. Spoon 1 tablespoon of meat mixture into each wonton cup and top with 1 tablespoon shredded cheese.

5. Place a second wonton wrapper on top, press gently, then divide remaining meat mixture and cheese evenly among cups.

6. Bake 10–15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.

7. Mix ranch dressing and salsa in a small bowl and refrigerate.

8. Cool taco cups slightly, drizzle with salsa ranch sauce, add toppings, and serve warm.

Notes

Ground turkey can be substituted for ground beef for a lighter option.

Tortillas may be used instead of wonton wrappers; lightly brush with oil for crispier edges.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven to maintain crispness.
