Description
Sticky, savory, and lightly caramelized chicken skewers marinated in a blend of soy, honey, garlic, and ginger.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken, cubed
2 tbsp neutral oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp crushed garlic
2 tsp crushed ginger
Instructions
1. Place the cubed chicken in a large bowl.
2. Whisk oil, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
3. Pour over chicken, toss, and marinate 20 minutes or up to 24 hours.
4. Soak wooden skewers or use metal skewers.
5. Thread chicken and brush with leftover marinade.
6. Grill 3–4 minutes per side until fully cooked.
7. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use tamari for a gluten-free version. Thigh meat stays extra juicy when grilled.
