Description
Spicy Chicken Cheese Bread is a bold, cheesy appetizer made with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and mozzarella baked on a crispy French loaf.
Ingredients
1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
2 to 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 cup buffalo sauce
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
1 teaspoon ranch seasoning blend
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill or oven to 350°F. If using a grill, prepare it for indirect heat cooking.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and softened cream cheese. Stir until smooth and spreadable.
3. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place the halves cut-side up.
4. Evenly spread the buffalo chicken mixture over both halves of the bread.
5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top. Add crumbled blue cheese if using, and lightly dust with ranch seasoning.
6. Place the bread on the grill over indirect heat or on a baking sheet in the oven. Cook for 10 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and lightly golden.
7. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Use indirect heat when grilling to prevent burning.
For milder flavor, reduce buffalo sauce slightly.
Allow bread to rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
