Description
Creamy skillet chicken served over Parmesan alfredo orzo made in one pan.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup dry orzo pasta, cooked
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups finely grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Season chicken evenly.
2. Cook chicken in olive oil until done.
3. Rest chicken.
4. Melt butter and sauté garlic.
5. Add cream and simmer.
6. Stir in Parmesan and seasoning.
7. Mix in cooked orzo.
8. Slice chicken and serve over orzo.
Notes
Grate Parmesan finely for smooth sauce. Reheat gently with extra cream.
