Ingredients
1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 1/2 tablespoons freshly minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
2. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
4. Add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Once melted, swirl to coat the pan.
5. Arrange the chicken in a single layer and cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
6. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until nearly cooked through.
7. Add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Cook for 1 more minute, stirring gently, until fragrant and the chicken reaches 165°F.
8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
