Description
Flaky puff pastry filled with cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, and ranch seasoning, baked until golden and brushed with garlic butter.
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning mix
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
2 medium jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely diced
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch seasoning, cheddar, and diced jalapeños until combined.
3. Roll puff pastry into a 9×12-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
4. Spread filling evenly, leaving 1/2 inch along one long edge.
5. Brush the empty edge with water and roll tightly into a log. Seal the seam.
6. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place cut-side up on baking sheet.
7. Bake 18–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
8. Melt butter in saucepan, stir in garlic, parsley, and salt for 2–3 minutes.
9. Brush warm pinwheels with garlic butter and serve warm.
Notes
Keep puff pastry chilled before rolling for best results.
Remove jalapeño seeds for milder heat.
Reheat in oven to maintain crisp texture.
