Description

Hot Chicken Alfredo Dip is a creamy, cheesy baked appetizer made with shredded chicken, garlic, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup whole milk

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a small baking dish and set aside.

2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to create a smooth paste.

3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Slowly whisk in the milk until thick and smooth.

4. Reduce heat to low and add the cream cheese. Stir until melted and creamy.

5. Mix in 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

6. Transfer mixture to prepared dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.

7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden.

8. Let cool slightly before serving with bread, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.

For extra flavor, add sautéed spinach or mushrooms.

Reheat gently with a splash of milk to maintain creaminess.
