Description
A creamy, tangy appetizer made with Greek yogurt, basil, garlic, and finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
Ingredients
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or additional yogurt
1/3 cup finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes (drained of oil)
1 clove garlic, grated, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and basil in a small bowl.
2. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
3. For a smoother dip, blend the mixture in a small blender or with an immersion blender until it reaches your preferred texture.
4. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed.
5. Serve as a dip for vegetables, a spread for sandwiches, or a topping for grilled dishes.
Notes
For a lighter dip, replace mayonnaise with more Greek yogurt.
