Description
Creamy Lemon Chicken Skillet is a one-pan dinner made with tender chicken thighs simmered in a bright lemon cream sauce with fresh herbs and Parmesan.
Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/3 cup chicken broth
3 garlic cloves, finely grated or minced
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
2 tablespoons sliced chives
2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
1. Season flour with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Dredge chicken in flour and brown 4–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. Deglaze pan with chicken broth and add garlic, cream, Parmesan, lemon zest, and juice.
5. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Stir in most herbs, return chicken, coat with sauce.
7. Top with remaining herbs and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Serve immediately for best texture. Reheat gently with a splash of broth if needed.
