A rich baked pasta made with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
14 ounces dried pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
8 ounces mushrooms, halved or sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cooked chicken breasts, chopped
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and cook pasta until just tender.
2. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft.
3. Add mushrooms, seasoning, and garlic; cook until tender.
4. Stir in broth and simmer briefly.
5. Add cream, chicken, and parmesan; stir until smooth.
6. Combine pasta with sauce.
7. Transfer to baking dish and top with cheeses.
8. Bake until melted and golden.
9. Garnish with parsley.
