Description
Chicken Bacon Ranch Stuffed Bread is a creamy, cheesy appetizer made with ranch-seasoned chicken, turkey bacon, and Colby-Jack cheese baked inside crusty Italian bread.
Ingredients
1 (16-inch) loaf Italian bread
1 (8-ounce) package chive and onion cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
3 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped
6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 medium green onions, finely chopped
3 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese, divided
1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Beat cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic salt, and onion powder until smooth.
3. Stir in chopped chicken, turkey bacon, green onions, and 1 cup shredded cheese.
4. Slice bread lengthwise and hollow out the center.
5. Sprinkle 1 cup cheese on bottom half, spread chicken mixture evenly, top with remaining cheese, and place top half of bread over filling.
6. Brush loaf with melted butter and wrap tightly in foil.
7. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until heated through and cheese melts, opening foil last 5 minutes to crisp top.
8. Rest 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
Notes
Finely chop the chicken for even distribution.
Open foil during final minutes for a crisp top.
Let the bread rest before slicing to keep layers intact.
