Description

Chicken Alfredo Stuffed French Bread is a creamy, cheesy comfort food baked inside a crisp loaf and sliced for easy serving.

Ingredients

1 large loaf French bread

2 cups cooked chicken, diced

1 1/2 cups Alfredo sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter, melted

3 teaspoons minced garlic, divided

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice French bread lengthwise and hollow out the center, reserving removed bread.

2. Tear removed bread into small pieces and place in a large bowl.

3. Add diced chicken, Alfredo sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, 2 teaspoons garlic, and black pepper. Stir well.

4. Microwave mixture 3 to 5 minutes, stirring halfway, until heated through.

5. Spoon mixture into bottom half of bread. Top with remaining mozzarella and place top half back on.

6. Mix remaining garlic with melted butter and brush over loaf.

7. Wrap tightly in foil and bake 25 to 30 minutes. Open foil for last 5 minutes for crispier crust.

8. Slice and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Open the foil during the last few minutes of baking for a crispier crust.

Allow the bread to rest briefly before slicing to help the filling set.

Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
