Description

A warm, golden loaf filled with creamy chicken, herbs, cheese, and rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

1 soft loaf French bread, unsliced

2 cups cooked chicken breasts, chopped or shredded

1/2 cup diced onion

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)

14 ounces Alfredo sauce

8 ounces drained mushroom pieces (optional)

1/4 cup sliced black olives, drained (optional)

Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray.

2. Slice the French bread horizontally and hollow out the center.

3. Microwave garlic and onions until softened.

4. Combine chicken, seasoning, herbs, onions, garlic, and optional ingredients.

5. Add cheeses and Alfredo sauce until the mixture is cohesive.

6. Fill the bread evenly and place the top half back on.

7. Wrap tightly in foil and bake at 400°F for 25–30 minutes.

8. Uncover for the last 5 minutes if a crisp crust is desired.

9. Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Add mushrooms or olives for deeper flavor.

Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.

Resting helps maintain clean slices.
