Description
Creamy, cheesy Chicken Alfredo Crescent Rolls baked in rich Alfredo sauce for an easy family dinner.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups creamy Alfredo-style sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 13×9-inch baking dish or a 2-quart casserole dish.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped chicken, garlic powder, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until well blended.
3. Separate the crescent dough into 8 triangles. Spoon an even amount of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
4. Roll each crescent up, starting from the wide end, and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
5. Pour the Alfredo-style sauce evenly over the roll-ups, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
6. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the sauce is bubbling.
7. Let the dish rest for about 5 minutes before serving to allow everything to set.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
Freshly grated mozzarella melts more smoothly.
Allow the dish to rest before serving for cleaner slices.
