Description

A shareable pizza ring filled with juicy meatballs, creamy ricotta, and melted mozzarella. Perfect for parties, game nights, or quick family dinners.

Ingredients

1 prepared pizza dough, enough for 1 ring

1/2 cup ricotta cheese or cream cheese

15 to 20 fully cooked chicken or beef meatballs

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 large egg, beaten

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

2. Roll the pizza dough into a large circle. Using a sharp knife, cut a small star shape in the center by making several short cuts that radiate outward.

3. Spread the ricotta in a ring around the center cuts, leaving the outer edge of the dough clear.

4. Arrange the meatballs over the cheese, then sprinkle the mozzarella evenly on top.

5. Take each point from the center star and gently fold it up and over the filling, tucking the tip under the outer edge of the dough.

6. Continue all the way around until it forms a ring and the filling is mostly enclosed.

7. Brush the dough with the beaten egg and sprinkle the top with dried oregano and salt.

8. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

9. Let it cool slightly before serving and place marinara sauce in the center for dipping.

Notes

Use store-bought or homemade meatballs for convenience.

Cream cheese can replace ricotta for a richer filling.

Serve immediately for the best cheese pull and texture.
