Description
Tender bite-sized chicken cooked in garlic butter and finished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a quick and flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Place the chicken pieces in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well so each piece is evenly coated.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and lightly bubbling. Arrange half of the chicken pieces in a single layer without overcrowding the pan.
3. Cook the chicken undisturbed for about 4 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes, or until fully cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
4. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and repeat with remaining chicken. Remove and set aside.
5. Reduce heat to low. Add final tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
6. Return chicken to skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
7. Remove from heat. Sprinkle Parmesan and stir until slightly melted. Finish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Cut chicken into even pieces for consistent cooking.
Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure a golden crust.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
Reheat gently with a small amount of butter to maintain moisture.
