Description

A cozy, creamy, and cheesy casserole loaded with pasta, chicken, and broccoli, this Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Bake is the perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

8 ounces dry pasta (such as penne)

4 cups broccoli florets

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped

1½ cups creamy Alfredo-style sauce

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and position a rack in the upper third of the oven.

2. Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta for about 1 minute less than package directions. Add the broccoli during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain well.

3. Transfer the pasta and broccoli to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

4. Add the chicken, Alfredo-style sauce, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.

5. Spread the mixture into an even layer, then sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the top.

6. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until the casserole is hot and bubbling.

7. For a golden top, place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.

8. Season with salt and pepper as needed and serve warm.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken for added convenience. To make it ahead, assemble the dish, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
