Description
Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Dip is a creamy, baked appetizer loaded with tender chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, and a rich homemade Alfredo sauce. Perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups cooked chicken breast, finely chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 1- to 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
3. Stir in garlic, salt, parsley, oregano, and pepper. Cook until fragrant.
4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream. Cook 3–5 minutes until thick.
5. Stir in 3 tablespoons Parmesan and 1/2 cup mozzarella until melted. Remove from heat.
6. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in Alfredo sauce. Fold in chopped chicken.
7. Spread into baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
8. Bake 15–20 minutes until hot and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting texture.
Can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.
