Description
Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Garlic Bread combines crispy garlic baguettes with Cajun-spiced chicken, peppers, creamy buffalo sauce, and melted cheddar for a bold 30-minute dinner.
Ingredients
2 garlic baguettes (about 7 ounces each)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced (about 12 ounces total)
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 jalapeños, sliced (divided)
4 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake garlic baguettes according to package directions.
2. Heat oil in a skillet and cook diced chicken with Cajun seasoning and black pepper for 5 minutes.
3. Stir in crumbled bouillon cube.
4. Add onion, bell peppers, garlic, and half the jalapeños. Cook 5 minutes.
5. Stir in hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and heavy cream. Simmer 4–5 minutes.
6. Spoon mixture into baked baguettes and top with cheddar.
7. Bake 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
8. Slice and garnish with remaining jalapeños and green onions.
Notes
Do not overcook the chicken to keep it juicy.
Adjust jalapeños for preferred spice level.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
