Description
Crispy wonton cups filled with smoky barbecue chicken, topped with blue cheese and green onions. Perfect for parties, game day, or easy entertaining.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken breast, finely diced
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
24 wonton wrappers
2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Lightly press one wonton wrapper into each cavity of a mini muffin pan, shaping them into small cups.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken and barbecue sauce. Stir until evenly coated.
4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture into each wonton cup.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until heated through and edges are golden and crisp.
6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions. Serve warm.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
