Description

A fast skillet pasta with tender chicken, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella. Designed for busy nights when comfort matters.


Ingredients

8 ounces short pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces

½ tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper

2 cups marinara-style pasta sauce

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 ounces mozzarella cheese

Optional basil, red pepper flakes, extra Parmesan


Instructions

1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente and reserve pasta water.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

3. Cook chicken and garlic until lightly browned.

4. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

5. Stir in pasta sauce and Parmesan.

6. Add pasta and reserved water, tossing to coat.

7. Top with mozzarella, cover, and melt.

8. Garnish and serve warm.
