Description
A quick and bold chicken ramen stir fry made in one skillet with simple ingredients and big flavor.
Ingredients
8 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 tablespoons soy sauce, divided
1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil
1 package instant ramen noodles (seasoning packet discarded)
1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/3 medium white onion, sliced
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon hot water
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
1. Combine chicken with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
2. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, without seasoning packet, then drain.
3. Heat oil in skillet and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes until browned.
4. Add onion and bell pepper and cook 3 minutes.
5. Mix remaining soy sauce, sugar, and hot water and add to skillet.
6. Add noodles and toss until coated and heated through.
7. Garnish with green onions and serve.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred. Add chili flakes for extra heat.
